Golden Gait TrailersOur first quarter Featured Partner is Golden Gait Trailers (GGT), based in Concord, NC.  GGT is a local, family-owned business that first started out in horse and livestock trailers.  With the support of their amazing community, they now have over 50 employees and a customer base ranging from racing to medical clientele. In 2013, GGT entered the travel trailer and RV industry.  Now, RV owners can experience the same great customer service that trailer owners have had from them for over 25 years.

Coach-Net’s Stacy Fendley, Regional Account Executive, had the pleasure of speaking with Richard Hoppe, GGT Finance Director.  Before coming to GGT, Richard previously owned an office supply company and then sold cars for three years.  In 1996, Richard began working in finance.  He eventually made his way to GGT in 2014. When asked, “What do your customers value most about the Coach-Net products?”, Richard responded, “The confidence the dealership has in Coach-Net services”.  It’s important that the dealership believes in the products it is selling.  Otherwise, why would a customer buy it?  Richard personally values Coach-Net because of the sales resources and assistance provided and the ease of generating quotes through the Coach-Net dealer portal.

Richard Hoppe - GGTFinally, Richard offers some advice for new partners who are just getting started with Coach-Net products – “Sell with confidence and have confidence in your Coach-Net team.  Be sure to utilize the sales tools provided (posters, brochures, etc.).  Finally, limit what you offer the customer so that you don’t overwhelm them with options.  Determine what your customer needs and offer that package with all the necessary products, surcharges and upgrades already included.  (Example: ultimate service contract with consequential damage, Hazard Protect and GAP).”
