The first ever RVX: The RV Experience premiered this last month in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was a busy week filled with tech academies and educational seminars, with the “Big Reveal” as the premier event of the show where they featured some of the standout RV units for various consumer categories. Coach-Net had a huge team from all different departments attending this eagerly anticipated event and we all had a great time:
- Our technicians were able to learn valuable information and training which they have been able to take back and share with the rest of the team including all of our agents.
- Our marketing department loved seeing all the innovative advertising and found several of the seminars incredibly helpful. They’re eager to incorporate these new and exciting ideas into our overall program.
- Our IT department was really able to dig into the heart of the RV industry and connect with numerous people developing strategies to partner together so that we can continually provide our dealer partners and your customers the best digital experience possible.
- And as always, our sales team had an incredibly busy week networking with manufacturers, dealers, and other various vendors attending the show.
RV Women’s Alliance
There were several key highlights from week one of which was the RV Women’s Alliance big inaugural event. Just recently formed, the RV Women’s Alliance is committed to being an inclusive organization dedicated to fostering networking opportunities and establishing a mentoring program. Coach-Net was privileged to sponsor this social event and the turnout was phenomenal. With well over 100 people from all branches of the industry gathering together to network at their very first event, the RVWA is off to a fantastic start. We are also proud to announce that Coach-Net has not just one, but two of our team members serving on the board of the RV Women’s Alliance. Kim Gregory, Vice President of Sales, is an official voting member of the board and Stacy Fendley, Regional Account Executive, was elected to serve as Secretary of the board. We are all incredibly excited about the great ventures and opportunities this new organization plans to host to benefit everyone in the RV industry.
40 Under 40
Another major event during RVX was the top 40 Under 40 Award Ceremony. For the second year, numerous young people representing innovators, manufacturers, dealerships, financial institutions, and numerous vendors were recognized by RVIA. This honor was first awarded in 2017 with the intention of creating an annual program to recognize the standout elite who are driving innovative change and exceptional growth as young leaders in the RV industry. We are delighted to announce that our own Shannon Esterly, Client Sales Manager, received the honor of being named by RVIA as one of the RV industry’s top 40 Under 40. Shannon was recognized for the dramatic impact she has had on training & development, marketing, and sales growth not just within Coach-Net, but with the individual dealerships she has had the pleasure to work with. At Coach-Net our goal has always been to foster business and growth for our dealer partners and Shannon has been a shining success in helping are dealerships achieve their unique goals. Shannon’s dedication and innovative methods have helped transform Coach-Net and we are so incredibly proud that the industry also recognizes the positive and far-reaching impact Shannon has had across the industry.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, and everyone we had the pleasure to interact with at RVX. It was a great week for the industry and we are all looking forward to the summer season fast approaching. We can’t wait to help your summer customers enjoy the experience of Carefree RVing.
