Earlier this month the entire sales team gathered at our new office in Grapevine, Texas for our annual sales team meeting. We spent three days reviewing last year, retraining on our products to ensure we’re always providing our partners with the most up to date information, and mapping out strategies for the upcoming 2022 year.
We spent hours each day connecting with several major leaders at Coach-Net. We met with our Vice President of Operations to ensure our agents are delivering the best service possible for our members. We met with the owner and President of Coach-Net to make sure our plans are in line with his vision and our Coach-Net values. And we spent one morning training with our Technical Services Director and one of our other highly skilled Coach-Net technicians learning some of their latest and greatest tech tips. We even got a hands-on training with the new “tech table.” It was incredibly impressive to see that our own Coach-Net techs built it from scratch. It’s even more impressive the electrical wiring works just like in a real RV. Even the plumbing works! Shannon, our Queen, was gracious enough to wave to us peasants as she sat high atop the throne.
And, of course, we wouldn’t be the sales team if we didn’t make a little time for some fun. We spent one day adventuring and conquering our fears at Go Ape! They have a zip line and ropes course tucked away in the woods of Plano and it definitely did not disappoint. Some people were experts running through the course, leaping off platforms like it was nothing. Others mentally calculated every possible awful scenario before reluctantly jumping off a solid platform to swing over jagged ravines, but we did it. When Kim says “Jump!”, we simply say “How high?” before begrudgingly stumbling off the sturdy structure shrieking in sheer terror.
And finally, our favorite part of the week was hanging out in the Entegra at The Vineyards Campground & Cabins in Grapevine, just minutes away from our Coach-Net headquarters. We broke bread (and by bread I mean toritilla chips because this is Texas), shared a few drinks, a bunch of laughs, and of course tons of ooey gooey s’mores.
We had a great time kicking off October working together and figuring out ways to better serve our partners and our members. We are so excited about our plans for this new year and look forward to chatting with you about it at RVDA in November. We can’t wait to see everyone in Vegas!
